Group self-selection

If there are manually created or auto-created empty groups in the e-course, you can let learners join the group of their choice.

NB! The self-enrolment activity itself must not be in the group mode.

Add the activity Group self-selection:

• in the drop-down menu that opens under Add an activity or resource, select Group self-selection
• add a name and description to the activity
• if necessary, select a grouping (if groupings have been formed of groups)
• specify the maximum number of learners per group
• specify whether a learner can select one or several groups
• if the maximum number of learners in groups is different, you can set it in the Module administration block using the link Limits
