6. Reusing quiz questions

If you want to reuse quiz questions in the same course next year or in another course, they can be exported from the quiz as a file and imported to the other course.

NB! This way you can import the questions and not the entire quiz to the other course – you will have to create a new quiz in the course and add the imported questions to the quiz.

To export questions:

• in the block on the left select Administration – Question Bank – Export
• under File format select Gift format
• click Export questions to file – the file is exported to the downloads folder on your computer’s hard drive

To import questions:

• in the block on the left select Administration – Question Bank – Import
• under File format select Gift format
• select the exported file or drag it to the Import field
• add the imported questions to a quiz
