Note, that for this calculation retention times and peak widths can be expressed in arbitrary units (minutes, millimeters, inches etc) as long as the same unit of measure is used for all quantities. Therefore, if you print the chromatogram and measure retention times and peak widths with ruler, there is no need to convert them to minutes. Alternatively you can have a look at the Clue below.
