V. Recognition

24. The committee reviews the application, makes a decision and informs the applicant of the decision in a format that can be reproduced in writing within 30 days of receiving the application. Applications submitted for completion of the curriculum are not reviewed in July. Compliance with admission requirements is evaluated during periods specified in the university’s admission rules.

25. In the case specified in clause 22, the committee may extend the period of reviewing the application by up to 30 days of the date of complying with the condition of additional requirement, by informing the applicant in a format that can be reproduced in writing.

26. The decision of the committee includes the name(s), volume, grade(s), and type (compulsory, elective or optional course) of the recognised modules and course(s). If the application is fully or partially dismissed, such a decision must contain reasoning.

27. If prior learning and/or professional experience is recognised for completion of admission requirements, the committee sends their decision about the compliance of previously completed curriculum or courses with the admission requirements to the admissions committee. The applicant is informed of the decision.

28. If prior learning and/or professional experience is recognised as part of the completion of a curriculum, the faculty, institute or college enters the recognised course(s) and module(s) into the Study Information System based on the decision of the committee.
