Module 6: Co-designing projects for the cultural sector. Discover the important processes, tools, and skills needed.

 

Introducing the module 

 

Abstract: The aim of this module is to enable you to design and implement open innovation initiatives that are relevant to local contexts as collaborative projects between CHOs and HEIs.This involves enabling people to take charge of their own learning through teamwork as a means to addressing challenges faced by their communities, helping people to identify and be part of the solution to the problems that they face, and work effectively with cultural heritage organisations.

 

Learning outcomes: You will be able to

  • Identify challenges and opportunities for open innovation projects in Cultural Heritage Organizations.
  • Reflect on challenges and solutions in the cultural sector
  • Design relevant projects in collaboration with local communities,
  • Evaluate project ideas,
  • Implement project ideas

 

OI project: By the end of this module you will be able to deliver an idea of an Open Innovation campaign for a CHO of your choice.

Target group: HEI students and CHO staff

Module structure and components: This module introduces you to information literacy and digital skills, as well as teamwork skills and reflection. It aims to support you in co-designing an Open Innovation project that addresses real-world challenges in collaboration with your local CHO sector. Your answers can be delivered as notes, audios or videos. You can also use a Miro board.
