All participants have to choose four different workshops that are carried out during the symposium on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Tour to the Estonian National Museum on Thursday is optional and costs 40€.

  • ethnographical textile collections of Heimtali Museum

  • indigenous knitters from Villaväki (Finno-Ugric Union from Saint Petersburg) demonstrating their techniques

  • visiting the temporary knitwear exhibitions in Linnagalerii, the Sakala Centre and the Kondas Centre
  • guided tour of Vilma wool mill at 10 AM and mid-day – preregistration in groups during previous day at information desk
  • guided tour at Vilma Building at 11:00

17:00-18:00 Adding the finished samples from the workshops to the presentation area at the Folk Music Centre (small hall)

Sunday, July 1

Departure.

Special buses will drive you to Tallinn at three different times – we will sort the exact times out during the week; in order to help us, please give your flight schedule, etc., to the information desk during the symposium.
