What mobility opportunities are available?

  • To spend a semester or academic year abroad, find out more about Erasmus+ studies in Europe and  International Credit Mobility at the University of Tartu. See also what other mobility programmes the University of Tartu has to offer.
  • Erasmus+ allows you to go on a traineeship both during your studies and afterwards, within one year after graduation. To do a traineeship, you need to find a host institution or company with a field of activity and a profile that match your professional and personal development interests. To help you with traineeship opportunities, see the recommendations of the UT Study Abroad Centre and the Erasmus internship website.
  • Short-term blended mobility for UT students under Erasmus+ Europe enables short-term physical mobility (5–30 days) which may or may not be preceded or followed by a virtual activity. Blended mobility is open to all potential participants, but primarily targeted at those who have reasons not to go on a fully physical long-term mobility.
  • International summer schools are short, enriching programmes where you can learn from lectures, spend time in an international company and take part in a varied leisure programme.
  • If you would like to complete a full bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degree at a foreign university, find the right institution for you and check their website for information on study opportunities and admission conditions. Make sure you also familiarise yourself with the living conditions and other information you need in the country of destination.
