Congressus XIV Internationalis Fenno-Ugristarum
The 14th International Congress for Finno-Ugric Studies
Congressus Internationalis Fenno-Ugristarum (CIFU) is the most important international academic event for research on the Finno-Ugric (Uralic) languages, cultures, literature, folklore, art, music, religions, history, genetics, and archaeology. Since 1960, the Congress has been organized every five years.
The 14th International Congress for Finno-Ugric Studies (CIFU XIV) will take place on August 18–23 2025 in Tartu, Estonia. The congress is organized by the University of Tartu Institute of Estonian and General Linguistics.
Important dates:
- Notifications of acceptance will be communicated starting from December 1st. In single cases, the notification may take a bit longer.
- In case of a late submission to General or Poster Session, please contact the organizers: cifu14@ut.ee. Find more information on the abstract submission in the 2nd Circular.
- More information about registration will follow in the Third Circular in January 2025.
