Tartu Conference on East European and Eurasian Studies
Fourth Annual Tartu Conference (2019)
The Fourth Annual Tartu Conference was held under the theme “Communities in Flux: Rethinking Sovereignty and Identity in an Era of Change” on 9-11 June 2019 and brought together 220 participants across the world.
Invited speakers included Gerard Toal (Virginia Tech) and Nancy Condee (University of Pittsburgh).
In addition to the academic discussions, the conference also hosted a screening of Marianna Yarovskaya’s “Women of the Gulag” and a special session by ERC on the funding opportunities by the European Research Council.
