Study Guide
Organisation of the course material
The course (overall volume 1 ECTS, 26 hours of students work) is organized in 6 modules, each consisting of 4 topics. The course is compiled to pass independently. It consists of reading, short video lectures, case studies (examples), quick tests for self-testing and final evaluation tests and supplementary resources for each module.
The modules are based on the OERs developed within the Student DCE project.
Introductory page of the module gives you an overview of the module, information regarding topics covered and study outcomes. Each module consists of 4 topic and provides general information on the subject including links to examples, resources and/or videos illustrating and giving you additional knowledge on the topic as well as evaluation test and page with further resources for supplementary reading, deeper information and studies.
Each topic ends with quick tests, which enables you to test the acquired knowledge and skills. These quick tests are an intrinsic component of the course and it is strongly recommended to take all of them.
Quick tests
In the end of each topic there are self-test exercises for enabling the student to test his/her knowledge and skills in specific topics. Quick tests are structured on the principle that each question is on a separate slide and the final score is visible on the last slide. Please note that in some questions multiple answers are possible. The quick test questions can be answered several times and the right answers can be checked.
Evaluation tests
The evaluation tests use the same feedback marks. You can finish each evaluation test only on the last slide of the module, nevertheless the questions can be answered randomly. Please note that the blue button under the question shows which questions are answered. The final results are shown when all questions have been answered.
The evaluation tests can be taken as many times as needed and the success of taking these exercises will not influence the final grade. We recommend that you complete all the exercises and work with them until you achieve a score of 100% and only then move on to the next topic. However, a score of 75% is required for passing the module.
