Muš Nadii (real name Nadezhda Pchelovodova, born 11 XI 1976) is an Udmurt poet and translator of Estonian literature into the Udmurt language. She lives in Estonia.
Nadezhda Pchelovodova graduated from Udmurt State University in 1998 as a teacher of Udmurt and Russian languages and literature. From 1998–2004, she worked at Udmurt National Library at the Department of Udmurt and Finno-Ugric Documents. From 2004–2009, she studied at Tallinn University and acquired a Master of Arts degree in literary studies. She has taught the Udmurt language at Tallinn University and is one of the authors of the Estonian-Udmurt dictionary. She is a member of the Estonian Writers’ Union from 2013.
Muš Nadii has rendered the works of Udmurt authors into Estonian and translated many Estonian writers into Udmurt. Her translations published as books include the works of Arvo Valton, Karl Ristikivi, Kristian Jaak Peterson, Betti Alver, Ernst Enno, Juhan Liiv, Marie Under, Anna Haava, Hando Runnel, Lydia Koidula, Kristiina Ehin, Maarja Kangro, Mihkel Kaevats, Hasso Krull, fs, Indrek Koff, Eno Raud, and Ellen Niit. She has also participated in compiling and translating of the anthology of Udmurt poetry Hõbepaat (‘Silver Boat’, 2005), the collection of Finno-Ugric peoples’ poetry Kuum öö (‘Hot Night’, 2009), Omel Ladi’s book Ajaloo nägu (‘The Face of History’, 2009), the collection of Kuzebai Gerd’s works Olen udmurt (‘I’m an Udmurt’, 2010) and translating of the Udmurt film Maasikad-muulukad (‘Strawberries and Creamy Strawberries’) into Estonian.
In 2016, Muš Nadii was awarded the Order of the White Star, class V.
