Skytte internship
Before the Internship
Mandatory activities before internship include:
- Think of your own aims of your internship.
- Familiarize yourself with the specific aims and learning outcomes of your study program, internship course in SIS or in Moodle and other expectations set on your internship (including the duration etc.).
- If you wish to acquire credit points for your internship, please keep in mind that 1 ECTS corresponds to 26 working hours during the internship.
- BA students have to do an internship worth 6 ECTS. MA students can do internships worth 3 or 6 ECTS. Another option is the university teaching practice for 3 or 6 ECTS. Also check the requirements in your curriculum.
- Register yourself to the internship course in Moodle. (No need to register to the internship course in SIS. The internship coordinator will register you in SIS after you have successfully finished your internship and the course.)
- Familiarize yourself with internship offers.
- Select your place of internship and contact them.
- Formulate the aims of your internship according to your study programme and FUTURE SKILLS 2025 in Moodle.
- Sign the internship agreement (can be found in Moodle).
The Skytte Institute students’ main goal for going on an internship is development. You will assess your development through self-analysis after the completion of the internship.
