TRANSPORTATION

Viljandi is a small cozy lakeside town in southern Estonia. Viljandi is located approximately 160km from Estonia’s capital Tallinn, 80km from Tartu, 250km from Helsinki (capital of Finland) and 245km from Riga (capital of Latvia).

The nearest international airport and port (terminal A and terminal D) are in Tallinn.

Parking and public transportation in Viljandi

Parking is free on Viljandi city streets. In general, you have to pay in the commercial buildings’ and shopping centres’ parking lots. Some allow free parking for up to two hours based on a parking meter. Always follow the signs regulating parking!
