International conference “Heritage in the Service of Resilient Communities”

October 1-2, 2024 in the Estonian Traditional Music Centre in Viljandi

The main theme of discussions and presentations revolves around how the values, knowledge, and skills embedded in cultural heritage enrich the contemporary living environment and help find sustainable solutions to social, economic, and ecological problems.

The working language of the conference is English.

The conference will take place on October 1st from 10:00 to 18:00 and on October 2nd from 9:00 to 17:00.

Registration and Participation Fee:

You can register for the conference until September 13, 2024 (or until all available spots are filled) by filling out the REGISTRATION FORM.

Early registration discounts apply if you register before July 1, 2024 (inclusive):

  • Regular ticket: 65€
  • Discounted ticket (for students and retirees): 50€

After July 1, 2024:

  • Regular ticket: 80€
  • Discounted ticket: 60€

The participation fee includes access to the conference program, lunch, and coffee breaks on both days.

Transport and Accommodation:

Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation and accommodation (including breakfast). Find our recommendations on “Getting here” page.

Payment Details:

The participation fee is payable based on an invoice provided by the University of Tartu Viljandi Culture Academy.

Note:

A festive dinner with live music will be held on October 1st from 19:00 to 22:00 at Viljandi Sakala Center. The participation fee for the dinner is 55€, and registration can be done through the general conference registration form.
