09:10–09:40 – Rainis Venta: What do corporate CSOs buy?
Rainis Venta has a PhD in biotechnology. He is innovation manager for biotechnology and pharmaceuticals in Institute of Bioengineering (looglab.com; digibio.ut.ee). He has worked on building bridges between Estonia and Singapore.
09:40–10:25 – Relika Alliksaar Williams: Knowledge transfer, science and innovation at the University of Tartu
Relika Alliksaar Williams is an expert of knowledge transfer, intellectual property and science innovation, and works in the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation of the University of Tartu.

10:40–11:10 – Sven Lange: Case studies of university-enterprise partnerships
Sven Lange holds a PhD in material science. He is expert in laser spectroscopy, head of the Laser Spectroscopy laboratory at the Institute of Physics, University of Tartu. Sven Lange has experience of work and partnership with different companies.
11:10–12:40 – Gleb Maltsev: Foundations of Pitching
Effective methods in communication with companies and pitching of new research ideas to them will be introduced and trained according to the pre-tasks, which will be given before the event.
Gleb Maltsev is a communication specialist with 13 years of experience. He helps people explain complex ideas in simple terms — whether it’s a pitch to investors or a presentation at a scientific conference.
