A look back at the conference “World Poetry Today” (2025)
On October 1-4, 2025, EACL held its 16th international conference, “World Poetry Today: Production, Translation, Reception.” Young literary scholars Emilia Kõiv and Rahel Ariel Kaur, who participated in the event, wrote an exciting review of the conference in the publication Sirp, and a photo gallery commemorating the conference can be viewed on the EACL website. “Oktoobri alguses toimus Tartus Eesti Võrdleva Kirjandusteaduse Assotsiatsiooni kuueteistkümnes ülemaailmne konverents pealkirjaga „Maailmaluule täna: loome, tõlge, retseptsioon“. Neil, kes tahavad toimunust saada korraliku teadusliku ülevaate, soovitame järgmine kord ise kohale tulla. Kui ollakse nõus kahe luuleentusiasti ekstsentrilis-subjektiivse mõtete vooluga, siis sobib seda artiklit lugeda küll.”
