WORK INSTRUCTIONS

In all the Modules below you can explore, learn and consolidate different idiomatic expressions and proverbs that are often used in the English language.  The Modules have been built up based on the different topics:

• Module 1. To set the ball rolling: Idioms connected with starting an activity and using languages
• Module 2.  Idioms connected with people and characters
• Module 3. Communication and relationships
• Module 4. Historic figures, fictional characters and names in everyday language
• Module 5. Vocabulary and idioms relating to food and drinking

There are three types of exercises on this course. These are:

• Choose the correct answer
• Translate or explain
• Fill the gaps

In all of these exercises you can test your prior knowledge and learn new expressions when you follow exactly the directions given.
