SUCC and Silva Nova seminar

On May 30th, 2023 a joint seminar with SUCC  and  Silva Nova  people was held in Tartu at Oecologicum.

In addition to our team and the Silva Nova team, we had the pleasure to introduce our work to represantitives from the Estonian Research Council and Ministry of Education and Research. 

These presentations were followed by a short field tour to Rõhu Experimental Center and Järvselja Primeval Forest.

As a pleasant surprise, we discovered a hidden gem in the Järvselja primeval forest – Gyromitra sphaerospora. This species has been found in Estonia only 3 times before now.
