Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have been increasingly integrated into earth sciences in the past few years. The enormous potential and freedom they provide to scientists is becoming increasingly evident every day.

UAVs are on the verge of being a common tool in every scientist’s toolbox in the near future. However, few universities offer UAV courses in their programs, making it quite difficult for most of us to get a comprehensive introduction and overview of the countless different UAV configurations, sensors, and associated workflows.

On this page, you can familiarize yourself with the drone course materials at a time and place that suits you best. To complete the full course and obtain a certificate, you must register for the corresponding course at the University of Tartu:
