The University of Hradec Králové virtually welcomed everybody to the first joint training session in October. The event aimed to offer various workshops introducing the MOOC-s, e-modules, and other materials conducted by academic lecturers from the University of Tartu, Central European University, Warsaw School of Economics, and the University of Hradec Králové

One of the workshops was held by our special guests – Maria Deldén, PhD, and Gull Törnegren, PhD, from the Dalarna University, Sweden. They focused on strategies for leading classroom discussions on controversial and sensitive topics. The emphasis was on the roles that the teachers could and should take in these situations and introduce an ideal conversation model.
