Exercise 2: Control of the female body by authorities

The goal of this exercise is: to show pupils the link between social media and political manipulation

Instruction for the teacher:

  • before starting the exercise, ask students whether they faced discrimination because of their clothes,
  • watch the films and identify the factors and common problems of the limitations of the portrayal of women in both videos,
  • group factors by positive and negative (see worksheet_8.3.pdf),
  • begin discussing ideas for eliminating negative factors with the idea in mind: “be the change you want to see in the world” (Mahatma Gandhi).
