Study abroad offers

A semester or year spent abroad as an exchange student is gradually becoming a common part of university studies. A growing number of students are using study abroad opportunities to expand their experiences and knowledge. Seize the opportunity and make your studies international!

ENLIGHT invites students to participate in a short-term exchange programme

Until 15 November, Bachelor and Master students of the University of Tartu can apply to participate in a blended intensive programmes (BIP) the upcoming spring semester. The majority of the program takes place online but students will also go abroad to study in person at one of ENLIGHT’s partner universities.

Have Your Say on the Digitalisation of the Erasmus+ Programme!

The European Commission invites students to take part in the annual European Student Card Initiative (ESCI) survey to share their views on the ongoing digitalisation of the Erasmus+ programme. Your feedback will help shape future digital tools that make studying and mobility in Europe easier and more connected. No prior knowledge or Erasmus+ experience is required – every student’s opinion matters!

The survey is open until 27 October.

Additional application round to partner universities

If you wish to study abroad in spring 2026, you can still apply to some of the UT partner universities. The application deadline is 17 October.  You can apply to Waseda, Hokkaido, Kansai Gaidai and Sophia university in Japan, Tbilisi State University in Georgia and Chung-Ang and Soongsil university in South-Korea.

ENLIGHT invites students to participate in a short-term exchange program

Students can register until 15 October to ENLIGHT’s autumn edition of the ENLIVE cultural exchange project.

Students of the University of Tartu are welcome to register to the European university network ENLIGHT’s online course on sustainable development. Registration is open until 15 October. Students of UT receive a 50% discount when registering for the course. It is recommended to use the university email address to register.
