Week I – Moments that Changed the World

The first week is structured as a timeline that reflects the events that changed the world and analyzes what the goals and key factors of the change were.

Themes:

1. Events that changed the world in 1870-1920
2. Events that changed the world in 1920-1980
3. Events that changed the world 1980-2021
4. What were the goals and main factors of the change?

Purpose:

1. The first week provides a brief overview of the history of feminism that has taken place in Europe over the last 150 years or so.
2. Understandings on how to interpret and analyze the timeline are presented.
3. Opportunity to share ideas from the analysis with others and express your opinion.
