Learning Enhancement & Academic Development Service – LEADS offers one to one appointments on a range of topics. Advice, practice and preparation for writing skills, online exams, avoiding plagiarism and more.

University of Glasgow Sport offers the best fitness experience in Glasgow, with state-of-the-art sport facilities and a huge range of classes every week. Access Sport Online for recreational and course bookings, membership renewal and other. UofG Sport membership is open to anyone aged 16 and above. Join online with your GUID and password.

You should register with a local doctor who will be responsible for your medical care whilst at the University. If you have not previously been registered with an NHS doctor and do not have an NHS medical card, you should inform the General Practitioner (GP) you are registering with. If you are not registered with a dentist, contact the Dental Hospital for an emergency appointment. However, they will only accept you if it is an emergency.

International Student Support is a dedicated team of advisors who are here to guide international students through their student journey at Glasgow. From Visas and Immigration to Welcome and Orientation events a wide and immersive service is offered to ensure that you have an excellent student experience.

Since students will not be in Glasgow for a full academic year (September-December), shorter stays have previously been negotiated for CEERES students with two external accommodation providers (UNITE and Fresh Student) for the past cohorts. We anticipate similar deals in future however, it is not guaranteed. Accommodation and living costs are separate from the tuition fee.
