Ilia State University is devoted to ensuring that the facilities and environment are accessible for everyone, including those with special needs. A, B, C, D, E, F, G, S, and T buildings are responding to the standards to welcome students, staff, and visitors with special needs.

The Counselling Center is open at Ilia State University on the Mental Health Resource Centre base and has been operating since March 2019. Consultations are currently taking place remotely. In a Mental Health Crisis, please contact the team at ispcc@iliauni.edu.ge

The Centre for Academic Writing at Ilia State University provides targeted academic writing, language and style courses, tutorials, workshops and resources in both Georgian and English. The Centre offers professional consultations on various academic writing or presentation issues to Georgian and international students.

ISU Student Affairs Department is committed to creating and maintaining a student- centred environment. The Department assists students to create clubs of their interests and finding jobs and internships at partner organizations. Students willing to join clubs or sports activities are requested to register at student.affairs@iliauni.edu.ge or visit the department in the F106 room in the F building.

Once the local insurance package is obtained, students should choose the provider clinic and register with a doctor working in the same clinic offered by the insurance company. Insurance packages and prices are different depending on the services offered within a package and insurance company. The major insurance companies are: Ardi, Imedi L, TBC Insurance, GPI Holding, Unison, IGG.

All international students are assisted by the International Students Department during the Visa and Residence Permit obtaining processes. The department offers pre-departure and on-campus orientation sessions and individual consultations upon request.

ISU does not have a dormitory and every student is required to rent a private or/and shared flat. Upon request, International Students Department will assist students to find nearby accommodation. For further details, please contact: tiniko.nakashidze.1@iliauni.edu.ge

112 is the Emergency Response Centre that receives emergency calls from all over Georgia via unified emergency number. 112 service is free of charge from all fixed line and mobile networks even if the number is disconnected from both sides or there is no SIM-card in the mobile phone.
