Venues

The Baltic Basement Spring School program will commence at the Geological Survey of Estonia Arbavere Research Center in Northern Estonia (approximately 1h drive from Tallinn). It is only possible to reach the venue by car (no convenient public transport options nearby).

In this site there is a newly built main building with a lovely lecture room and several large storage facilities for practical hands-on work with various Estonian drill-core material.

Accommodation

Participants of the spring school are mostly accommodated at the nearby (1,8 km) located Arbavere Guesthouse who will also provide all our lovely meals during the event and offer lots of room for nature walks. While breakfasts and dinners are served at the guesthouse, then lunches and coffee breaks will be delivered to the Arbavere Research Center facility.

See more about the Arbavere Guesthouse on their Facebook site and their official homepage.

Accommodation will be mostly provided in shared rooms for 2 to up to 5 people.

We will organise transportation between the Reserach Center and the Guesthouse by cars and mini-busses during the whole event.
