Searching the libraries of the world

For finding information on books located in different libraries around the world, you can use composite catalogues of library collections. Using the Interlibrary Loans service, you can also order the necessary books to your local library. Read here how to do so in the University of Tartu Library.

Karlsruher Virtueller Katalog lets you select which composite catalogues you want to search.

Worldcat (http://www.worldcat.org/) simultaneously searches many online catalogues and collections of different libraries of the world. As OAIster also searches through WorldCat, the interface and options look about the same.
