Carri Ginter Clarifies Legal Status of Lihula Monument Transport
Carri Ginter has stated that the transportation of the controversial Lihula Monument does not violate Estonian law. Ginter explained that the Penal Code does not outright ban the movement of symbols associated with aggression, provided they are not displayed in a manner that supports or justifies such acts. This clarification comes after police and the interior minister cited the law as the basis for confiscating a copy of the monument.
