Below are some example prompts for various activities that can enhance your learning, research, or teaching.

Generating Code

“As a computer vision expert, write an annotated pseudocode for Python code that detects cats in an image containing pandas. This pseudocode will be used in a bachelor’s level coursework. It must be clear and understandable to students at this level, limited to 50 lines, and should include an example demonstrating the detection process. Ensure the pseudocode is well-commented and easy to follow for beginners.”

Identifying and Correcting Errors

“As an expert in academic writing, identify and explain mistakes in a bachelor-level essay. Focus on errors in grammar, punctuation, structure, argumentation, citations and clarity. Provide feedback, ensuring the review is no longer than 3 paragraphs. Include specific suggestions for improvement and ensure your feedback is clear and easy to follow.” 

Studying for an Exam

“As a study coach for master’s students, create a focused two-week study plan based on the course information in the attached PDF. The plan should help me prepare efficiently for an upcoming exam, with daily study goals, key topics to prioritize, and strategies for effective revision. Ensure the plan is structured, clear, and manageable within the given time frame.” 

Summarising Scientific Articles

“As a research expert in prompt engineering, provide a concise summary of the three attached articles, highlighting key findings, methodologies, and gaps in the research. Additionally, suggest a list of advanced search keywords for further search queries on this topic. The summary should be tailored for a PhD-level researcher, clear, and well-structured. It should no more than 5 paragraphs in length.” 

Creating an Image

“Create a vibrant and dynamic illustration of a physical education class taking place outdoors. Show a group of students aged around 10-12 years old, dressed in colorful sportswear, engaged in various activities such as running, playing soccer, and stretching. Include a sunny park setting with green grass, trees, and clear blue skies. Make sure the scene feels lively and energetic, capturing the joy and movement of a fun PE lesson.“

Creating a Video
