Successful kick-off meeting for SysAge

We’re thrilled to announce that the SysAge Project has officially launched with our recent kick-off meeting! This significant first step took place in Tartu, where SysAge project partners from University of Tartu, University of Copenhagen and Institut Pasteur, as well as members of the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) gathered in person and online to lay the groundwork for the project ahead.

What is the SysAge Project?

SysAge is part of the Horizon Europe Twinning initiative, a program dedicated to enhancing scientific collaboration and knowledge-sharing across Europe. The SysAge project aims to deepen understanding of systems immunology—a field focused on studying immune responses as an interconnected system—and how it impacts healthy ageing. By expanding knowledge in this area, the goal is to contribute to advancements that support healthier ageing processes, ultimately benefiting people across Europe.
