Applied methodology
The MOBVET platform is based on a new approach to learning where the trainer’s role is to support student’s development into a learner who can manage his or her own learning, who can independently cope with changes in the environment and take responsibility for his or her own development and learning. This approach emphasizes the significance of learner’s own contributions to their learning process through initiative-taking and active involvement.
We apply the methodology of experiential learning. The experiential learning is an educational approach, which aims at integrating theoretical and practical elements of learning for a whole person approach, emphasizing the significance of experience of learning.
The experiential learning techniques include a rich variety of interactive practices whereby the participants have opportunities to learn from their own and each other’s experiences, being actively and personally engaged in the process.
The Platform consists of two modules: Study and Country module
In both modules, our we are using the following methods and techniques:
– visual tours and on-line visits to target country;
– videos (students and teachers who have already taken part in mobility share their own stories);
– discussion and reflection assignments;
– quizzes and self-assessment tasks.
