On 9–10 June 2025, the EXOHOST consortium held a two-day Research Workshop at Tartu Observatory, Tõravere, Estonia.
The first day focused on reviewing the scientific quality of ongoing work and exploring new research directions. The agenda included topical “flash talks” from various EXOHOST teams, a session for sharing fresh ideas, and discussions about future funding, including strategic preparation for ERC grants.
On the second day, participants turned their attention to the Observatory’s technical capabilities. Sessions covered updates on Tõravere’s telescopes, details about its Echelle spectrograph, and funding strategies for future collaboration in areas like the CHNOPS (carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, phosphorus, sulfur) element cycle.
Overall, the workshop provided a valuable platform for EXOHOST researchers to assess progress, strengthen collaborations, and align on the next steps for both scientific and technical goals.
