In September 2024 (8–13 September), Estonia was well represented at the Europlanet Science Congress 2024 in Berlin, Germany — a major biannual gathering of planetary scientists.
The research team from EXOHOST presented several contributions:
- Poster by Kertu Metsoja: “Comparative analysis of a binary system HD 135344 with a protoplanetary disk”
- Oral presentation by Alexandra Lehtmets: “Evaporated atmosphere in the interplanetary medium of early-type stars”
- Poster by Heleri Ramler: “New fibre-fed Echelle spectrograph and photometer on the 1.5 m telescope at Tartu Observatory”
The team’s presence underscored Estonia’s active role in advancing exoplanetary science, combining stellar physics, atmospheric studies, and instrumentation development.
