Academics as mentors will be expected to have experience in guiding PhD students and will be expected to give kind, concrete and fruitful feedback. In addition, mentors are expected to give workshops and take on the role of moderator of open discussions on important topics in science education in an informal setting. All Academics applicants for the Summer School are assumed to be willing to act as reviewers for the student synopses.
