ESERA Summer School 2024

The next ESERA Summer School will take place in Tartu in Estonia from August 19th to August 24th 2024, hosted by the Institute of Ecology and Earth Science Centre for Science Education at the University of Tartu (Home | Tartu Ülikool (ut.ee)).

We invite PhD students working in the field of science education research to submit their applications for the Summer School by January 31, 2024 (see the Apply for Summer School menu). A maximum of 49 PhD students will be selected, based on a review of their synopses, and considering a diversity of countries and fields of interest in science education. In addition of the possibility to present and discuss participants research in small supporitve groups, the Summer School offers a number of possibilities to meet and discuss research with mentors outside one´s own mentor group (world café format) and workshops, provided by experienced science education researchers at different career stages.

We also invite Academics, who are ESERA members and would like to participate in the Summer School as mentors for a group of PhD students, to submit their applications by January 31, 2024 (see the Apply for Summer School menu). A maximum of 14 mentors will be selected, based on their envisioned role during the Summer School.
