Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Georgia

Shota Rustaveli State University of Batumi (hereinafter BSU) represents an outstanding scientific and cultural institution in the Republic of Georgia. With more than 80 years of history, BSU is today the driving force behind higher education in the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, attracting students not only from Georgia, but from the whole region of the Caucasus and also from Turkey. After successful authorization and accreditation in 2011, BSU offers a wide range of options to students at all three stages of higher education: there are 43 BA, 23 MA, and 8 PhD programs besides a couple of vocational and single-level programs.
