Master Class in Quantitative Linguistics

** The master class is held in a computer room, which means we have a limited number of spaces available. We kindly ask you to register by the set deadline, since participation is based on the first-come-first-served principle.

Intended audience: Graduate students, post-graduate students, post-doctoral students, and faculty interested in applying quantitative methods in their research. 


Format: The master class includes seven sessions given by Professor R. Harald Baayen from the University of Tübingen and two sessions given by postdoctoral researcher Ilmari Ivaska from the University of Bologna.

On Tuesday, 5 March, there is a session in Estonian by instructors from the Centre of Estonian Language Resources (CELR).


On Friday, 8 March, doctoral students and supervisors have the opportunity to discuss their research projects with Professor Baayen. Should you be interested in the discussion session, please contact the organisers via e-mail by February 18, 2019.


Upon completion of the master class, it is possible to receive 1 EAP course credit. Should you wish to receive credit for the course, please indicate so in the registration form.
