#30DayMapChallenge hackathon Tartu

Home

For the last two years, the 30 Day Map Challenge has taken place on Twitter during the month of November. This global map-making event was initialised by Topi Tjukanov

The idea is to create (and publish) maps based on different themes on each day during that month and post them on Twitter using the hashtag #30DayMapChallenge. The aim of the hackathon is to prepare data and maps for the  #30DayMapChallenge. We aim to have small teams (2-4 people each) who will choose different themes and then prepare the initial concepts and data for the maps that would be finalised by November when the actual challenge will take place on Twitter. The final maps will be published in social media as team works.
