To choose among them, click on the Zotero window\u00a0 <em>Edit &gt; Settings &gt; Cite &gt; Styles <\/em>or select your style on the Zotero website by choosing <em>Documentation<\/em>, then <em>Generating Bibliographies, Citations and Reports<\/em> and then <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zotero.org\/support\/styles\">Citation Styles<\/a>. Find the link <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zotero.org\/styles\">Zotero Style Repository<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Citation styles can be sorted by format (numeric, alphabetical by authors, author + date) or by subjects. Moving your cursor to the name of the style opens a window with examples of styles. Click on the style if you wish to add it to your favourites.<\/p>\n<p>Citation styles can be added to and removed from the selection from <em>Edit &gt; Settings &gt; Cite<\/em>.<em>\u00a0<\/em>Before deciding on a citation style, it is useful to view your references presented in different styles and to make sure that they meet the requirements of your research. Under the\u00a0<em>Cite<\/em> section, you can find\u00a0<em>Style Preview<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Choose items from your library by clicking on them while pressing the Control key. If you click on <em>Refresh\u00a0<\/em>in the <em>Zotero Style Preview<\/em> window after that, you will see your selected records made into a bibliography in different citation styles.<\/p>\n<p>You can also create a quick bibliography of activated records by right-clicking on one of them and selecting <em>Create Bibliography from Items.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-98 size-full\" title=\"create_biblio.png\" src=\"https:\/\/sisu.ut.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/339\/bibl.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"336\" height=\"296\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sisu.ut.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/339\/bibl.png 336w, https:\/\/sisu.ut.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/339\/bibl-300x264.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 336px) 100vw, 336px\"><\/p>\n<p>Then a window opens, from where you can choose the desired style, an output mode (if you need an in-text citation, choose <em>Citations<\/em>) and an output method.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Zotero includes almost 10,000 different citation styles.
