Waste management actors and policy tools"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After completing the module, you will know the main waste management tools and responsibilities of key actors, and will also understand the impact of potential waste management policy problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The INTOSAI WGEA guidelines\u00a0[Ref 6] on auditing waste management introduce a list of policy tools for waste management. These include direct regulations, economic instruments, public information and physical measures. Public awareness has been briefly touched upon in Module 2 of these training materials.
