On 24th of March, we were invited to Gustav Adolf Grammar School for their science day. Some key points:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Privacy and the need to be alone are crucial for personal development. In a world full of cameras, we develop differently than we would otherwise.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your phone contains more information about you than your room does.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On a regular day, the state doesn\u2019t need to know who I am, where I am, who I\u2019m with, where I\u2019m going, or where I\u2019m coming from.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Science fiction films like\u00a0<em>Demolition Man<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Minority Report<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Omniscient<\/em>, and others provide insights into what is often dreamed of in internal security. Which films do you think best predict the future?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If someone promises you privacy and security at the same time, there\u2019s a good chance they\u2019re lying or don\u2019t understand what they\u2019re doing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Many cameras can be nice for a short time, until a villain takes control. It\u2019s better to avoid a second coming of Hitler, who used technological solutions to implement his horrific plan.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When privacy rights were established, people\u2019s security wasn\u2019t significantly better than it is today.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Don\u2019t believe propaganda. Ask for details and make well-thought-out decisions yourself.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The students were inspiring and diligent.
