Tänapäevases kõrghariduses on oluline õppimiskesksus, mille saavutamine on võimalik vaid kõigi haridusvaldkonnas tegutsevate inimeste koostöös. Õppimise ja õpetamise arendamisele pühendatud konverentsil leiavad käsitlemist õppimiskesksuse olemus, tänapäevased õppimist toetavad õppe- ja hindamismeetodid, valdkondlikud eripärad õpetamises ja õppimises ning juhtimise roll õppekvaliteedi tagamisel. Konverents annab võimaluse tutvustada oma õpetamise arendamist ja uurimist ning tutvuda kolleegide kogemustega. Osalema on oodatud kõik õppejõud, kes on huvitatud õppija arengu toetamisest ja õpetamise arendamisest kõrgkoolis.

Learning-centered teaching approaches that can only be achieved through cooperation are a cornerstone of today’s higher education. This conference is dedicated to the development of teaching and learning and deals with issues such as the essence of learning-centered teaching, new teaching tools that support and facilitate quality learning, differences in field-specific teaching, and the role of leadership in ensuring quality teaching and learning. The conference provides opportunities to present results of higher education research and the scholarship of teaching and learning, as well as to share best practice experiences with colleagues. Everyone interested in supporting the development of their students and enhancing their teaching in higher education is invited to participate.
Participants
The conference welcomes all members of the higher education community, both from Estonia and abroad: teachers as well as graduate students, trainers of teachers, academic developers, HE administrators, etc. There will be sessions and workshops conducted by internationally recognized teachers and educators as well as opportunities to present in various formats: Paper Presentations; Symposia; Poster Sessions; and Workshops. The conference is held in English.

Proceedings
Selected presentations will be invited to publish in the conference proceedings. A book on learning-centered teaching in higher education is planned to publish in the University of Tartu Press. The book will be open-access. Projected publication date is spring 2019.
