Vaatamata heale koostisele ja omadustele on tema inimtoiduks kasutamine seni olnud marginaalne. Teisalt on inimkonna vananemise ja l\u00e4\u00e4ne dieediga liialdamise t\u00f5ttu j\u00f5udsalt kasvamas erinevate tervisprobleemide ja haigustega inimeste arv. Projekti eesm\u00e4rgiks on hapu vadaku v\u00e4\u00e4rindamine uudseteks teadusp\u00f5histeks tervistavateks vadakujookideks. Tahame arendada funktsionaalseid tooteid 4 fookusgrupile: inimesed vanuses 55+, et ennetada vanadushaprust ja vananemisega kaasnevaid haigusi, ning kolm patsientide gruppi, et parandada nende tervisen\u00e4itajaid ja elukvaliteeti: bariaatrilise ehk kaalukirurgia patsiendid, vaginiidiga patsiendid ning Parkinsoni t\u00f5vega patsiendid. Lisaks laboriarendusele plaanime t\u00f5estada tervisem\u00f5jusid kliinilistes uuringutes. Projekti oodatavaks tulemuseks on neli k\u00f5rge lisandv\u00e4\u00e4rtusega teaduslikult t\u00f5estatud tervistavate omadustega vadakujoogi protot\u00fc\u00fcpi, mis on valmis tootearenduseks ettev\u00f5tte baasil.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Sour whey is a by-product of curd or cottage cheese production. Despite its good composition, its use for human consumption has so far been marginal. On the other hand, the number of people with various health problems and diseases is rapidly increasing due to the aging of mankind and the overdoing of the Western diet. The goal of the project is to enhance the sour whey into new science-based healthy whey drinks. We want to develop functional products for 4 focus groups: people aged 55+ to prevent old age frailty and aging-related diseases, and three patient groups to improve their health markers and quality of life: bariatric surgery patients, vaginitis patients, and Parkinson\u2019s disease patients. In addition to laboratory development, we plan to prove the health effects in clinical trials.
