Tartu Street Art Tour (Tuesday, 9 June)

Tartu today stands out more and more for its flourishing street art scene and highly promising alternative culture. Wandering through the cozy-looking wooded neighborhood unique in all of Europe, one may encounter more than classical urban art usually offers. A mixture of graffiti, narrative stencil art and decorations fabricated by the locals creates a remarkable environment. The tour will start from the local cultural factory Aparaaditehas (Widget Factory) and take you through the art-filled wooden district of Karlova, stopping for a quick repose at the local bar Barlova. After the tour, you may head back to Aparaaditehas for dinner or drinks in one of the restaurants, hang out in their courtyard or visit the galleries or workshops of resident artists.

The price includes the guided tour. Visit to the bar is not included in the price.

Day: Tuesday, 9 June
Time: 18:00-20:00 (2 hours) (TBC)
Registration deadline: 29 May 2020
