Their resonance is visible in CEE, including countries such as Poland, whose previous demographic characteristics indicated monoculturalism, mono-ethnicity and mono-religion. Monoculturalism is the process of encouraging, enforcing, enabling the expression of one cultural, ethnic, social, or religious group to the exclusion of others. Monoculturalism encourages assimilation (incorporation) where people outside that dominant group can be expected to adopt their behaviours and practices. People migrate principally due to economic, political or security reasons, such as the prospect of a better-paid job or the search for a better place to live. An EU citizen has the right to work in any EU country.
