Negative perceptions, attitudes, and stereotypes could condition pupils to reject or deny the validity of truth-claims incongruent with their own. It is recommended to make boxes in which pupils can place anonymous questions or concerns. This should be accessible during and after lesson. That way you can avoid having to voice them, who does not want to, in front of the class.\n<\/p>\n<h3>\n\tTeaching methods<br>\n<\/h3>\n<p>\n\tTeaching methods proposed in this module:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\tlecturing\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tdiscussion\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tthink aloud\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tcase study\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tindividual work (worksheets)\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\twork in pairs and in groups\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tuse of pictures and movies\n\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>\n\tEthical approach<br>\n<\/h3>\n<p>\n\tBefore you start presenting the topic, build safe learning environment for your pupils. They may have many doubts about the topic. They may also be ashamed to comment on certain topics because this module requires pupils to reflect on the language they use and to be particularly respectful of others\u2019 contributions to enable positive discussion. Therefore, make them feel comfortable with sharing their knowledge, ideas, values, attitudes. Remember to always be sensitive to the needs and experiences of individuals. You can make an agreement that class is a judgment-free zone without negative feedback.
