mediators, learning facilitators, and reflective practitioner.\u00a0Reflective teaching is not a\u00a0straightforward,\u00a0intuitive process.\u00a0It requires a great degree of\u00a0self-awareness and ability to put one\u2019s own\u00a0habits\u00a0of mind in question.\u00a0It is important to recognize that\u00a0some of the\u00a0mental habits, biases, and presuppositions\u00a0we develop in our practice as teachers\u00a0tend to close off new\u00a0ways of perceiving and interpreting our experiences\u201d (Larrivee\u00a02000, 296).\u00a0Engaging with reflective\u00a0practice encourages teachers\u00a0to continuously\u00a0challenge their underlying beliefs\u00a0about\u00a0teaching, with the understanding that teachers\u2019 choices make a great impact on the classroom environment and
