Each exercise is based on the theoretical background provided at the beginning and involves extra visual and text materials. The module is based on active learning: analysis by students of the provided information, comparing them with the reality, and arriving at the conclusions with the guidance of the teacher. Completing the tasks requires openness to sensitive and difficult knowledge, incorporating perspective of others and reflective thinking. Engaging students in a pair/group work allows not only for self-reflection but also receiving feedback from others. The final part is designed to inspire own initiatives and can be used as a kick-off for planning and implementing grassroot social actions.

Instruction for teachers

Exercises from the module can be used separately to discuss each subject.
