Teiselt poolt saab panna proovile narratiivid, mis on muidu laia k\u00f5laga, kandes edasi n-\u00f6 domineeriva grupi v\u00f5i gruppide oletusi ja eelarvamusi. Teiste s\u00f5nadega, vastunarratiive saab kasutada, et laiendada \u00f5pilaste vaatenurki ja n\u00e4itlikustada seda, et \u00fchele k\u00fcsimusele v\u00f5ib olla erinevaid vastuseid. Samuti aitab meetod m\u00f5ista, et iga juhtiva seisukohaga k\u00e4ivad kaasas ka maha surutud v\u00f5i peitu j\u00e4\u00e4vad seisukohad. Antud l\u00e4henemine toetab \u00f5pilase eneserefleksiooni v\u00f5imet, oskust tunda \u00e4ra oma identiteeti ja \u00fcmbritsevat tausta ning osata liigelda mitmek\u00fclgsetes sotsiaal-kultuurilisestes kontekstides, mis meid globaliseerunud ja v\u00f5rgustunud maailmas ees ootavad. Vastunarratiivi kui meetodit on v\u00f5imalik liita mitmete \u00f5ppeainetega.\n<\/p>\n<h2>\n\tMis on sellise l\u00e4henemisviisi tugevused?<br>\n<\/h2>\n<p>\n\tVastunarratiive saab kasutada hariduses erinevatel p\u00f5hjustel (Miller, Liu and Ball, 2020):\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\tpanna proovile domineerivaid narratiive;\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tastuda vastu domineerivatele narratiividele;\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tkujundada \u00f5petamispraktikaid \u00fcmber \u00f5pilaste suhtes v\u00f5rdsemateks;\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tkaasata \u00f5pilasi aruteludesse, mis puudutavad v\u00f5rd\u00f5iguslikkust, sallivust ja mitmekesisust;\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tennetada eelarvamuste teket.\n\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n\tVastunarratiive saab lisada \u00f5ppematerjalidesse, et k\u00e4sitleda v\u00e4hemustevastaseid hoiakuid, tuues v\u00e4lja marginaliseeritud ja diskrimineeritud gruppe. Zaretta Hammond (2014) tabavalt kirjeldab, miks n-\u00f6 peanarratiivi ja vastuloo r\u00f5hutamine on oluline \u00f5pilaste \u201eoma\u201c lugude loomisel ja kujundamisel. Tema s\u00f5nul on just viimased vundament \u00f5pilase akadeemilise maailmavaate rajamise juures.
