number of students) and asks every group to prepare a \u201cdonor card\u201d for a member of the Muslim community living in a country in Europe.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tWatching excerpts from a social campaign in favour of organ donations will help students to familiarise with the Muslim perspective on this issue. A discussion about the symbolism that could be included on such a card may provide a good starting point for the design of such a card. This may include religious symbols such as green or a crescent moon. However, the presence of religious elements on the card is not obligatory, as the decision to become a donor does not have to be religiously motivated. Designing such a card will help students to remember that from the Islamic point of view being a donor is permissible.
